Bill Holiday is the moniker of Adam Larson, a creative director, graphic designer, and conceptual artist. In his art practice, he assumes the same role as a creative director or graphic designer, employing the same tools, skills and production processes, while abandoning the needs of a specific client, audience or clear message. He appropriates pop consumer culture to explore themes of identity, and the roles that consumerism, media and technology play in how we communicate, learn, and perceive the world. The result is a unique brand of campy, conceptual, pop surrealism with an intentionally blunt wit, and a deeply rooted, self-deprecating sense of sarcasm.
